Frozen tissue offers hope for men to father children after sterilizing treatments
NCT ID NCT04452305
Summary
This study is testing two experimental procedures to help men regain their fertility after treatments like chemotherapy or radiation made them infertile. It's for men who had testicular tissue frozen before their cancer or autoimmune disease treatment. Researchers will either inject stem cells back into the testicles or graft small pieces of tissue under the skin to see if sperm production can be safely restored.
