Summary
This study tests the R21/Matrix-M1 malaria vaccine in 330 healthy women aged 18–35 in Mali who plan to become pregnant. Participants receive two or three doses of the vaccine or a placebo, and are followed for two years to check safety, immune response, and how well the vaccine prevents malaria. Women who become pregnant are also monitored to see if the vaccine protects them and their babies.
