Summary
This study tested whether a single dose of two drugs (M5717 and pyronaridine) can clear hidden malaria parasites and protect against new infections for weeks. It involved 192 adults and teens who had malaria but no symptoms. The goal is to find a simple, one-time preventive treatment for malaria.
