NCT ID NCT07246525
First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving school children preventive malaria medicine can lower malaria cases in the entire community. Since school-aged children often carry the malaria parasite without symptoms, treating them may reduce transmission to others. The trial will involve about 4,800 children in Ghana and measure malaria cases in people of all ages living nearby.
