Promising lymphoma combo trial halted after just 8 patients

NCT ID NCT04541017

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tested two lab-made antibodies, magrolimab and mogamulizumab, together in people with a type of T-cell lymphoma (mycosis fungoides or Sezary syndrome) that had returned or stopped responding to prior treatments. The goal was to find the best dose and see if the combination could shrink tumors or slow the disease. However, the study was terminated early after enrolling only 8 participants, so we have very little information about how well it worked or what side effects occurred.
