Brain zaps tested to ease debilitating MS stiffness
NCT ID NCT07451600
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help reduce muscle stiffness (spasticity) and improve balance in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will use a device called transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on 24 participants. They will measure changes in stiffness, balance, walking, and pain to see if the treatment provides relief from these common MS symptoms.
