NCT ID NCT07206524

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adjusting magnesium levels in the dialysis fluid can reduce harmful inflammation and blood cell activation in people with end-stage kidney disease. Fifteen patients will have their dialysis fluid changed in different ways, and researchers will collect blood samples and rinse the used dialysis tubing to measure immune cell activity. The goal is to find better ways to make dialysis safer and more comfortable.
