Summary
This study looks at whether giving magnesium through an IV during hip surgery can lower pain and the need for strong painkillers afterward. About 50 adults having a specific type of hip surgery (periacetabular osteotomy) are taking part. Researchers will measure pain levels and medication use to see if magnesium helps.
