Summary

This study is testing if giving magnesium through an IV during a specific hip surgery helps reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers afterward. It will involve 64 adults who are already scheduled for this surgery. Researchers will compare pain levels and medication use between those who receive magnesium and those who don't.
