Can a simple mineral pill help you sleep better?
NCT ID NCT07359612
Summary
This study is testing whether taking a daily magnesium supplement for 8 weeks can improve overall sleep health in adults who don't have a diagnosed sleep disorder but feel they are poor sleepers. Researchers will enroll 65 healthy adults aged 18-39 who have low magnesium in their diet and self-identify as having poor sleep quality. Participants will take 250mg of magnesium daily while wearing a sleep-tracking watch to measure changes in how long it takes to fall asleep, total sleep time, and sleep efficiency.
