Abracadabra! magic tricks may boost social skills in autistic teens

Summary

This study is testing whether a 6-week virtual magic trick training program can help adolescents with autism improve their social and emotional skills. About 60 teens aged 11 to 18 with a confirmed autism diagnosis will take part. They will learn magic tricks online and researchers will measure changes in social knowledge, self-esteem, loneliness, and friendship quality using questionnaires.
