AI may cut unnecessary scans for gallstone patients

Summary
This study tests whether a machine learning model can accurately identify which patients with a moderate chance of having gallstones in the bile duct actually need an invasive scope or MRI. About 1,000 adults will be enrolled. If successful, the model could spare many patients from unnecessary procedures.
