First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new vaccine made from a person's own immune cells to see if it can prevent cancer in people with Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that raises cancer risk. The vaccine is designed to train the immune system to recognize and attack cells that might become cancerous. The study involves 20 adults with Lynch syndrome who have never had cancer, and will focus on safety and whether the vaccine triggers an immune response.
