Can simple massage ease the painful swelling after cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07215169
Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if a future larger trial is possible. It will test if a self-massage technique called manual lymphatic drainage can reduce swelling in the face and neck for people who developed lymphedema after radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. The study will compare two different schedules of the massage to see which is more practical and effective for patients.
