New drug could save lives from shock after severe bleeding

Summary
This study tests a new drug called LYFAQUIN (centhaquine) for people in hypovolemic shock, a life-threatening condition from severe blood or fluid loss. The drug aims to raise blood pressure and improve blood flow to help the body recover. About 400 adults in the emergency room or ICU will receive the drug alongside standard care to see if it is safe and effective.
