Summary

This completed Phase 1 trial tested the drug LY4268989 (MORF-057) in 144 healthy volunteers, including Japanese and Chinese participants. The main goals were to measure how the body absorbs and processes the drug, check for side effects, and see how food or other drugs (like midazolam) affect it. This early study does not test whether the drug treats any disease, but provides important safety and dosing information for future research.

What this could lead to
If successful, this study could provide the safety and dosing data needed to move LY4268989 into trials for a specific disease.
What could go wrong
This is a very early Phase 1 study in healthy people, so it cannot show whether the drug works for any disease. The results may not predict effects in patients.
