Summary
This study follows 300 adults with end-stage heart failure who receive a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) as part of their standard care. Researchers will track survival, complications, and hospital readmissions for up to 5 years. They will also analyze heart tissue and blood samples to find factors linked to better outcomes. No experimental treatments are involved—this is an observational study to learn from real-world results.
