Summary

This study tested a drug called lusutrombopag in 17 Chinese adults with persistent or chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) who had not responded to standard treatments. The goal was to see if the drug could safely raise their platelet counts to safer levels. Participants took the drug for up to 12 weeks, and researchers measured how many achieved a platelet count of 50 billion per liter or higher.
