NCT ID NCT03740841
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether using an interactive storyteller called LUNII could lower anxiety before surgery and improve recovery in children aged 4 to 6 with cleft lip and palate. The study planned to enroll 15 children but was terminated early. Researchers measured anxiety levels and pain after surgery, but results are limited due to the small size and early stop.
