First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 30 cancer patients with COVID-19 pneumonia to see if lung ultrasound (LUS) works as well as CT scans for detecting lung problems. Researchers compared the two imaging methods and also checked blood markers like IL-6. The goal was to find a cheaper, easier way to monitor these patients without radiation exposure.
