First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a bedside lung ultrasound during robotic prostate or bladder cancer surgery helps doctors set the breathing machine pressure more precisely. The goal is to prevent lung collapse and reduce breathing complications after surgery. About 88 adults with mild or no lung disease are taking part. The approach is fast, easy, and low-cost compared to other methods.
