Doctors test less invasive options to fight lung cancer

NCT ID NCT07272356

Summary

This study compares three established treatments for small lung tumors: surgery, targeted radiation, and a minimally invasive procedure that uses heat or cold to destroy the tumor. Researchers are tracking about 68 patients for two years to see which treatment best controls the cancer while preserving lung function and quality of life. The goal is to help doctors and patients choose the most suitable option based on individual needs.
