New lung imaging method offers radiation-free peek inside babies' chests

Summary

This study uses a new, safe imaging tool called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to look at the lungs of infants and children without using harmful radiation. Researchers will compare children with chronic lung diseases to healthy children to learn more about lung structure and function. The goal is to better understand how lung disease changes over time.
