Which marking method helps surgeons find lung nodules faster?

NCT ID NCT06957600

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tested two methods to mark small lung nodules before minimally invasive surgery: one using a dye delivered through a breathing tube, and another using a radioactive substance guided by CT scan. 66 adults with lung nodules took part. The goal was to see which method helps surgeons locate the nodule faster and remove it completely. Results will show if the newer dye method works as well without using radiation.
