First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested two techniques to mark small lung nodules before minimally invasive surgery. One uses a dye delivered through a breathing tube, the other uses a tiny radioactive marker placed through the chest wall. The goal was to see which method helps surgeons locate and remove the nodule more quickly and completely. 66 adults with lung nodules took part, and the results will guide future practice.
