Gentle new test measures tiny lungs while babies sleep
NCT ID NCT04270045
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive device that measures lung function in premature infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) while they sleep normally. Researchers want to see if this device can provide useful information about how these babies' lungs are working, which could help doctors understand their condition better. The study will also look at how babies respond to common breathing medications.
