Scientists hunt for genetic clues behind common lung diseases

NCT ID NCT00001532

Summary

This study aims to understand how genetic factors contribute to the development of various lung diseases, including cystic fibrosis, asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis. Researchers will enroll 3,500 participants, both with and without lung conditions, to examine their genes and compare them. The goal is to identify specific genetic patterns that may explain why some people develop these diseases.
