Oxygen trick during lung surgery may calm inflammation

Summary
This study looks at whether giving extra oxygen to the lung that is not being used during lung cancer surgery can lower inflammation and improve recovery. About 56 adults having lung cancer surgery will take part. Researchers will measure markers of oxygen levels and inflammation in lung tissue and blood to see if this simple oxygen technique helps.
