Summary

This study tested a brief virtual mindfulness program designed to reduce stigma in people with lung cancer, especially those from underserved groups. Researchers worked with a community advisory board of lung cancer patients to build the program. 108 adults with a history of tobacco use took part. The goal was to see if the program could lower feelings of stigma and increase the likelihood of quitting smoking.
