First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study will test if low-dose CT scans and AI-powered chest X-rays can help find lung cancer early in 2000 high-risk people from Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Argentina. Participants must be 50 or older with risk factors like wood smoke exposure, family history, COPD, or smoking. The goal is to see if these screening tools work well in Latin America to catch suspicious lung nodules sooner.
