Blood test may spot lung cancer return after surgery

NCT ID NCT05165160

First seen Dec 04, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple blood test can find tiny bits of cancer DNA left in the body after lung cancer surgery. Researchers will follow 133 people with early-stage lung cancer for one year to see if the test results match who has a relapse. The goal is to learn if this test can help doctors know who needs extra treatment after surgery.
