Scientists map genetic differences in lung cancer spread

NCT ID NCT07325864

Summary

This study aims to understand how lung cancer changes genetically when it spreads to other parts of the body. Researchers will analyze tumor samples from 25 adults with non-small cell lung cancer who are having surgery. By comparing the original tumor to where it has spread, they hope to learn more about how lung cancer evolves.
