Summary
This study tests a new, standardized way for pathologists to examine lung tissue removed during surgery for lung cancer. The goal is to find more lymph nodes that might contain cancer cells, which could lead to better staging and help more patients get the right follow-up treatments. The study will compare the new method to the usual technique in 160 adults having lung cancer surgery.
