Lung fluid immune cells may help predict cancer treatment success

NCT ID NCT07331701

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at immune cells found in lung fluid from 60 adults with advanced lung cancer. Researchers want to see if these cells can give extra information about how well a patient might respond to treatment, beyond what standard tumor tests show. The goal is to improve prediction of treatment outcomes, not to test a new therapy.
