Spinal tap test could predict lung Cancer's spread to brain

Summary
This study is testing whether a spinal fluid test can predict if advanced lung cancer will spread to the brain. Researchers will collect spinal fluid and blood from 40 patients with stage III or IV non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to see if tumor DNA in the spinal fluid can reliably identify patients at high risk for brain metastases, potentially creating a new screening tool.
