New combo therapy targets tough prostate cancer

Summary
This early-stage study tests whether adding a chemotherapy drug (carboplatin) to a targeted radiation therapy (177Lu-PSMA-617) is safe and effective for men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 37 participants will receive the combination to find the best dose and see if it shrinks tumors or slows cancer growth. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
