First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested a new medicine called LP-98, given as multiple injections under the skin, in 40 people with HIV who had never taken HIV drugs before. The main goal was to check if the injections are safe and how the body processes them. Researchers also looked at how well the drug controls the virus. This is an early step toward finding a more convenient way to manage HIV.
