NCT ID NCT07460882

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a low sodium salt substitute is safe for adults with high blood pressure who are on medication. About 607 participants in Bangladesh will replace regular salt with the substitute and be monitored for changes in potassium levels and blood pressure. The goal is to see if the benefits outweigh the risks, especially for those on certain blood pressure drugs.
