Summary

This study tests whether a pre-packaged low-residue diet helps people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) prepare for a colonoscopy more comfortably and effectively. About 500 adults with IBD will either follow this special diet or standard prep. The goal is to see if the diet improves bowel cleanliness and makes the process less stressful.
