Walking more could protect hearts of type 1 diabetes patients
NCT ID NCT07382856
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether doing light aerobic exercise five days a week can improve heart rate variability—a sign of heart health—in adults with type 1 diabetes. Over one year, 35 participants were split into two groups: one exercised regularly, the other less often. Researchers measured heart function, fitness, and blood sugar control at the start, six months, and one year.
