NCT ID NCT06635005

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special diet that keeps insulin levels low can reduce breast cancer risk in women already at high risk. The diet includes more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and plant proteins, while limiting animal protein and unhealthy fats. Researchers worked with 34 women to see if they could stick to the diet and if it improved health markers linked to cancer risk.
