First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special diet that keeps insulin levels low could reduce breast cancer risk in women already at high risk. The diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and plant proteins, and low in animal protein and unhealthy fats. The main goal was to see if women could stick with this diet and if it would lower certain blood markers linked to cancer risk.
