Doctors test which gas wakes you up faster after surgery
NCT ID NCT07016308
Summary
This study compared two common anesthesia gases (sevoflurane and desflurane) when used with low oxygen flow during ear, nose, and throat surgeries. Researchers measured patients' heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and how quickly they woke up after surgery. The goal was to see if one gas works better or safer under these specific conditions.
