Study tests which anesthesia gas helps patients wake up faster
NCT ID NCT07016308
Summary
This study compared two common anesthesia gases (sevoflurane and desflurane) used at low flow rates during ear, nose, and throat surgeries. Researchers monitored 40 healthy adult patients' heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and recovery times. The goal was to see if one gas leads to safer, more efficient recovery with less environmental impact.
