New combo therapy offers hope for rare skin cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a combination of ultra-low-dose radiation to the whole skin and a drug called brentuximab vedotin for people with mycosis fungoides, a rare type of skin lymphoma. The treatment is given every three months for a year. The goal is to see if this approach can better control the disease. About 30 adults whose cancer has come back or not responded to prior treatment will take part.
