First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a lower daily dose of the chemotherapy drug capecitabine in 40 patients aged 60 or older, or those who are frail, with advanced breast cancer. The goal is to see if this gentler approach can still shrink tumors or slow the disease while being easier to tolerate. Participants will take the drug once daily and be monitored every 12 weeks with scans.
