First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study aims to better understand low back pain by closely observing 600 people (300 with acute pain and 300 with chronic pain) over 6 months. Participants will use a smartphone app and a wrist-worn activity tracker to report their pain, movement, and psychological factors like fear and stress. The goal is to identify patterns and relationships that could improve future prevention and treatment.
