First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a common cholesterol-lowering drug (lovastatin) to an immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) can help shrink tumors in people with head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. About 28 adults whose cancer has not responded to prior treatments will receive both drugs. The goal is to see if the combination improves response rates and delays cancer growth.
