Summary

This study tested a drug called losmapimod in 76 adults with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a rare disease that causes muscle weakness. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and can help control the disease. Participants received either losmapimod or a placebo for 48 weeks, and some continued in an open-label extension. The trial was terminated early, but results focus on safety and side effects.
