Can a common heart drug help patients with a Parasite-Linked lung disease?

NCT ID NCT07453030

Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term effects of an oral medication called selexipag in adults with a specific type of high blood pressure in the lungs caused by a parasitic infection (schistosomiasis). Researchers will compare the health outcomes of about 30 patients who received selexipag as part of their regular care to similar patients who did not receive it. This is an observational study, meaning it looks at existing medical records and does not change how patients are treated.
